Upcoming Dates:

Updates from last week:

We had some snapping turtles hatch outside of the school. Classes were able to see the turtles and participate in safely relocating the turtles across the street to the lake.

Thursday September 15th was International Dot Day. This day is inspired by the award winning book The Dot by Peter H Reynolds. The book is all about creativity and “making your mark” Students engaged with the story and activities to celebrate in both Art and Library classes.

Students put together 20 tool boxes with a set of supplies which were all generously donated to our school for experiential learning! Students also created a thank you poster and continued practicing bowline knots and other knot tying skills as well as harvested herbs and plants for tea making.

Grade 2 has been busy with their learning. Pictures include: flashlight Friday reading, “roll a story” writing prompts, ABC order word work and “whats behind my back” math.
