Picture/Updates from Last Week:

Students in Grade 2 observed as their “grass heads” grew. Students noticed that no matter how they planted the seeds, the grass always grew upward.


Lots of spook-tacular fun was had at school on Halloween. Students in grade 6 designed and cut pumpkins as well as roasted the seeds for an afternoon snack. Grades PK-2 had classroom celebrations where many students changed into parts of their costumes. And Mr Niles dressed up as or beloved Maureen.


Students in Grade 3 continued their work with maps. Students created a model of the school and created a map to lead their partners to a hidden penny.


Students in PK-1 worked on projects in art class representing wings. They discussed symmetry and created symmetrical designs
