Baseball Update:
We are sad to say that we are not able to continue baseball practice due to lack of interest. We have held several practices but without 6-7 students consistently it's not conducive to continue. Please encourage your student to toss a ball around with a family member or friend and hopefully we can field a team next year with vigor! - Mrs. Emery

Second grade students shared their Maine State review before break. Students worked hard for weeks getting ready for this event. Students researched a famous person from Maine and put together a poster board, students dressed the part and had a living timeline. Great job 2nd grade!

Some classes have been working with Ms Hughes in the library with coding. Elementary grades are working with Sphero Indi robots which are a screen less coding robot that uses colors to program. Upper elementary and middle school students are beginning to use Sphero Bolt robots to learn about block coding to program the robots. Students are using 21st century learning skills of creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication. Many great observations and discussions are being had while beginning to code.
