Stratton School recently held the annual spelling bee for students grades five through eight. Peter Farnsworth hosted the event, with judges Haley Nutter, Sheena Harp, and Alice Totman making sure the students spelled the words correctly. Eighth Grader Maya Franklin won the event, Lya Pepin from Seventh Grade was the runner up. Franklin and Pepin will go on to represent Stratton School at the district spelling bee.
