Due to space limitations, only some students from Stratton will have their work on display at the CV Library for the month of May. If your child’s art is on display, they brought home a paper with information.
Come join us to celebrate spring and a wonderful year of learning!
PreK-8 music performance starts at 1:00. Stick around after the music performance to check out student art work throughout the halls, garden tours as well as seeing where the trees are going to be planted for the orchard when we return to school after summer break, learn about composting worms, and more.
There will also be some items for sale as a fundraiser for the School Garden Program:
The Mount Bigelow Masonic Lodge is sponsoring “Bikes for Books” at Stratton School this spring. Each time a student reads an age appropriate book they fill out a book slip. These slips go into a container in their classrooms. Before school gets out for summer the Masons will be back to draw a student slip from each class to win a bicycle!
We will also be having the Maine Bicycle Coalition visiting to do some bike safety and maintenance session with our students May 19.
The last day for checking out library books is Friday May 30th.
Overdue notices will be coming home the week of May 27-30 to help locate library books still checked out.
All Library books are due Friday June 6th.
Don’t forget we have some lovely local area libraries to utilize over summer break. Wendy at the Stratton Public Library and Andrea at the CV Public Library would love to see our students visit and check out books during the summer (and always).
