The Mount Bigelow Masonic Lodge is sponsoring “Bikes for Books” at Stratton School this spring. Each time a student reads an age appropriate book they fill out a book slip. These slips go into a container in their classrooms. Before school gets out for summer the Masons will be back to draw a student slip from each class to win a bicycle!
We will also be having the Maine Bicycle Coalition visiting to do some bike safety and maintenance session with our students this spring.
Neon 80’s Dance
The student council is putting on a “Neon 80’s Dance”. The dance is open to all students grades 5-8. The dance is Wednesday April 30, 5:00-7:00. Entry is $3, proceeds go towards Volunteer of the Year.
